Alterior is an experimental electronic music project based out of New Jersey, United States. Alterior combines elements of IDM, breakcore and industrial, but influence is also drawn from videogame music, particularly soundtracks with a fantasy theme from older consoles, such as roleplaying games from the Super Nintendo. Alterior's music conveys vibrant soundscapes that are rich in harmony and polyphony, often underscored by pulsing, violent percussion.
